About Principal Forwarders Ltd

Principal Forwarders Ltd, is a clearing and forwarding business that has been in operation since 1990. The business was founded by the late Mr. B.T. Ganiwalla. In a few years to 1993, the business grew rapidly to the extent Mr Shoeb Ganiwalla joined the business as a joint director. Having been in operation now for the last 25 years, Principal Forwarders Ltd has grown to be recognized as one of the leading clearing and forwarding companies in Kenya. In 2012, Mr Aadil Ganiwalla joined the business as a director. This continuous growth has allowed the business to expand its clientele and services. Our current portfolio is well over 60 clients from all over Kenya. This website has been launched to provide an insight for the services we offer and showcases the capabilities of our business.

In 2016, Mr. Aliasger Ganiwalla joined the team of management as an assistant to the current managing director Mr. Shoeb Ganiwalla.

BT Ganiwalla has been a member of Lions Club of Mombasa Central for the last thirty years and Shoeb Ganiwalla has been a member of Lions Club of Mombasa Bahari for the last ten years. Both have held various positions such as Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer etc during their membership.

Our office also employs the latest in technology and communications facilities to enable imports and exports to be handled professionally from documentation to release. Our facilities also enable documents to be tracked at any point in time, with expected arrival dates of the cargo and expected clearance date of the cargo being informed to the client at all times. The aim of this site is to provide you information about our reliable services and allow you to make an informed decision about engaging our services.

Clearing & Forwarding

We facilitate the clearing and forwarding of all import consignments from the port of Mombasa. This includes all containerized cargo, bulk cargo such as wheat, sugar, tea, coffee etc, we aso clear loose (LCL) cargo and project cargo for all non-profit organisations and multinational companies.
